Another Successful Festival! Going from Strength to Strength

Year on year the festival continues to grow both in events and audience numbers.

During the two weeks many hundreds of residents and visitors experienced an excellent variety and quality of entertainment and education. Our Team of volunteer committee members, together with those organisations who give support in kind, worked hard to achieve this success.

Our largest audiences in 2017 were for Science Day, Engineering Day, Law Day, the Three Choirs, Rhapsody in Blue and the Folk Concert. However, the quality and variety of subjects and artistic opportunities around Wirral attracted excellent attendance across all venues and events.

Williamson Art Gallery hosted the Wirral Society of Arts Open Art Exhibition which offered some outstanding visual artwork and was very well attended throughout the fortnight. West Kirby Arts Centre hosted several evenings promoting singers and emerging groups and the Scarecrow Trail made a welcome appearance once again.

We are looking forward to offering another exciting programme starting from 29th September 2018. If you want to get involved, do contact us, we are always looking for contributor, venues and of course volunteers!
